Popong Landero - Bahaghari Tayo
DAVAO CITY (MindaNews/22 Aug) -- Known for being a left-handed guitarist and for his reggae covers of Bob Marley, Popong Landero launched his sixth album Friday night at Kanto Bar, Matina Town Square here.
The album entitled “Bahaghari Tayo” is also the title of his carrier single. The 11-track album was recorded at Polyfusion recording studio and Landero composed and arranged most of the songs in the album.
“Bahaghari Tayo was inspired by the bombing of the airport, which happened a few days before the Araw ng Dabaw celebration. It happened when we were preparing for the fiesta, so it’s really distressing. But amidst this, we should continue, we have to move on,” Landero explained.
